The holiday farm "Il Casale del Barone" is located in the Marche, in the province of Pesaro e Urbino, in the municipality of Mercatello Metauro, a short distance from the Renaissance city of Urbino and the borders of Umbria and Tuscany.

It is placed at an altitude of 550 metres, in a panoramic position, between meadows and woods.

Mercatello sul Metauro since 2002 has been awarded the "Bandiera Arancione" (the Orange Flag) by the Italian Touring Club.

How to get there coming from the Adriatic Sea

For those who take the motorway A14 Bologna - Taranto, go out at the tollgate of Fano (PU). From there take the E 78 clearway towards Rome. Exceeded Fossombrone, go in the direction of Urbino, then turn towards Fermignano, Urbania and Sant'Angelo in Vado and continue for Mercatello sul Metauro.

Just before reaching the village, turn right following the sign for Ca' Franceschino, cross the bridge over the Metauro river and proceed to the right. Exactly after 5,6 kilometres (the last 4 kilometres is a dirt road) you'll arrive at Il Casale del Barone.

How to get there coming from inside

Coming from Rome (but also from Umbria and Tuscany) and going along the E45 (Ravenna - Orte) clearway, exit at San Giustino (PG) and go towards Urbino until you reach and exceed Mercatello sul Metauro.

Just beyond the village itself, turn left following the sign for Ca' Franceschino, cross the bridge over the Metauro river and proceed to the right. Exactly after 5,6 kilometres (the last 4 kilometres is a dirt road) you'll arrive at Il Casale del Barone.
